We had a great ribbon cutting, opening God's Marketplace. Today was the grand
opening of the Food Pantry. We would like to thank the Chamber of Commerce for
the ribbon cutting and Mayor Burns for assisting. Over 65 persons attended the
event today, Friday, August 10, 2007. Several members of the City Council of
Washington attended as well as Rev. Dean, District Superintendent of the Augusta
District, United Methodist Church.
We would like to thank the generous folks who provided cookies and brownies
for refreshments.
