The Home Center had a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting event sponsored by the Washington Chamber of Commerce on Friday, October 15, 2010. The Home Center is the latest business center for God's Marketplace. Friends have been very loving in giving household items to the new Home Center which is located next to GMI Thrift Store. The Home Center is open, Friday, Saturday and Monday 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.

A crowd of volunteers and workers were present Friday to cut the ceremonial ribbon for the grand opening of the God’s Marketplace Home Center. The home center carries all manner of household goods from dishes to sheets to small appliances, adding to the food and clothing support that the ministry provides for the community. After the ribbon cutting Friday, organizers held the annual Hot Dog Appreciation Day lunch for all of God’s Marketplace’s many supporters and customers.
